Johnson & Cord, P.C. understands that good legal representation requires a comprehensive understanding and application of the law to the facts and circumstances of each case.
Good lawyers are good problem solvers. Family law problems need effective solutions so that all the members of the family, adults and children alike, can move on with their lives. The lawyers and staff at Johnson & Cord, P.C. know that in order to help clients solve their problems we must first listen and then provide them with compassionate and sound legal advice. Johnson & Cord, P.C. provides insightful and creative solutions to difficult problems. When necessary we create a team of experts to help with the complex problems that can erupt when a family is faced with divorce, disputes over children, or the economic challenges and adversities that so often are part of the break up of a family. Johnson & Cord, P.C. provides effective and ethical advocacy in all dispute resolution models including mediation, arbitration, litigation and collaborative law.
Johnson & Cord, P.C. has on staff two highly skilled paralegals, Kendra Kothe and Julie Jay, and an office manager with 15 years of experience, Corinne Shaffer. The staff are here to provide service to the clients and to personally assist them with all aspects of their case. There is no voice mail because we want clients to be able to speak with an attorney or staff member.
Johnson & Cord, P.C. has up to date technology for legal research, preparing exhibits for complex financial and support issues, and e-mail to facilitate communication with our clients and our colleagues in the bar.
Johnson & Cord, P.C. is committed to providing pro bono services and access to the legal system. We accept referrals regularly from Pikes Peak Legal Services and we provide pro bono legal services to several non-profit groups in the Pike’s Peak region.
