David M. Johnson and Meredith Patrick Cord both practiced with the long time Colorado Springs general law firm of Kane, Donley and Johnson, P.C. When the partners in that firm decided to go their separate ways in 2006, David and Meredith established Johnson & Cord, P.C. with the specific goal of limiting the practice to family law matters. Both have a singular passion for helping people who must deal with legal issues in their family relationships.

Both David and Meredith are committed to serving the Colorado Springs community and view their public service as a duty they each have as attorneys. Being involved in this public service helps is a value to their clients in providing solutions for their clients by accessing other community leaders who are active in assisting families in transition.
